PhenoPlate 1536-well microplates are sterile and tissue culture-treated, with black well walls and an optically clear cyclic olefin bottom to ensure superior image quality. For added convenience, they can come prelabeled with custom bar codes.
Building upon our existing PhenoPlate portfolio, our new PhenoPlate 1536-well microplates are specifically designed for ultrahigh -throughput high-content screening. These microplates are made of cyclic olefin, a polymer with glass-like optical properties, providing excellent image quality as well as cell attachment. Their ultralow plate bottom enables whole plate well access when using water immersion and high NA objectives, and a new design with low-profile polystyrene lid for reduced evaporation. Thanks to the unique high plate height, custom or in-house barcoding is facilitated to allow fast and easy identification, and full traceability.
