Overview

2 mL Stainless Steel Lysing and Grinding Cryo Tubes.

The tube is made of 316 Stainless Steel. The brass cap contains a neoprene gasket for sealing and homogenization is achieved using a 6 x 12.5 mm stainless steel slug.

Great for seed applications (cold or room temp) that were previously impossible on the Bead Ruptor Elite. They can also be used to keep heat sensitive analytes colder than historically possible when processing using the Cryo Unit and liquid nitrogen.

  • Compatible with Bead Ruptor Elite and Bead Ruptor 96
  • Not Compatible with Bead Ruptor 4 or 12
  • Bead Ruptor Elite maximum load 8 Tubes. Maximum Speed 6 m/s
  • Bead Ruptor 96 maximum load 24 Tubes. Maximum Speed 30 Hz
  • Cleaning Autoclavable, wash out with water or ethanol until clean. Avoid long contact time with bleach.
