SVEP1 as a regulator of GPCR-mediated vasoconstriction

Vasoconstriction is known to play a crucial role in the pathophysiology of hypertension, a major risk factor for cardiovascular diseases. To develop therapies and treatments, it's important to understand the role that certain proteins such as SVEP1 play in the related processes.

Scientists at the Webb Lab at the University of Leicester were able to identify new insights into the role of the SVEP1 protein in cardiovascular function and disease with the help of Revvity's cell line engineering products and services.
