In this application note, the VICTOR® Nivo™ multimode plate reader is used in combination with MyAssays® Desktop Software to perform kinetic assays and analyze data in a more straightforward and efficient manner.
ADAMTS13 is a biomarker of thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP), a rare disease that can be controlled by plasma exchange, which is supposed to supply ADAMTS13 to patients and/or to remove neutralizing autoantibodies against ADAMTS13.
VICTOR Nivo was used to measure the activity of the enzyme ADAMTS13 in plasma samples, using the commercial substrate “FRETS-VWF73”. As variant of the original protocol, Revvity half-area plates were used to save reagent and sample (assay volumes reduced by half as compared to the original protocol).
Read this application note to learn more about running sensitive biochemical, kinetic assays efficiently with VICTOR Nivo and MyAssays® Desktop Software.
