Modulation of Bcl-2 Expression in MCF7 Cells Using LANCE TR-FRET Technology

Versatility of LANCE Ultra TR-FRET Assay in Measuring Bcl-2 Across Various Cell Types

This application note highlights the advantages of using LANCE Ultra TR-FRET assay technology to identify and characterize Bcl-2 protein expression in cells. We demonstrate that Bcl-2 is present in MCF7 cells (derived from luminal breast cancer) and that its expression levels change when treated with agents that induce cell death and affect cellular proliferation. Additionally, we showcase the assay’s versatility by measuring Bcl-2 expression in suspension cell lines and from frozen cellular lysates.
