Cellometer cell counting slides
Cellometer cell counting slides are designed for use with Cellometer instruments. Each all-plastic, disposable slide contains two sample counting chambers with precisely controlled height. Image-based counting with disposable counting chambers offers several key advantages:
- No potential clogging
- Ideal for fragile samples, such as hepatocytes
- No washing
- No potential cross-contamination
Each chamber has two ports. The cell sample is loaded following the recommended volume for the slide type (as shown in the table) into one port. The second port allows air to escape for easy loading.
Cellometer PD100 slides
- standard chamber thickness
- accommodating cells from 5 to 80 µm in diameter
- individually QC-checked
- packed in microscope slide boxes
- ready-to-use
- compatible with Cellometer T4, Auto 2000, K2, X2, Spectrum 5X and Spectrum 10X
- sample volume to load: 20 µl
Cellometer SD100 slides
- standard slide thickness
- for cells ranging from 5 to 80 µm in diameter
- protective film on both sides that must be removed before use
- cost-effective alternative to the ready-to-use PD100 slides.
- compatible with Cellometer T4, Auto 2000, K2, X2, Spectrum 5X and Spectrum 10X
- sample volume to load: 20 µl
Cellometer PD300 slides
- larger slides designed for cells >80 µm in diameter, such as adipocytes
- compatible with Cellometer Auto 2000, K2 and Spectrum 5X
- sample volume to load: 58 µl
Cellometer SD025 slides
- for cells < 20 microns in diameter.
- protective film on both sides that must be removed before use
- compatible with Cellometer X2 and Spectrum 10X
- sample volume to load: 3 µl

Cellometer Ascend cell counting slides
Designed for use with the Cellometer™ Ascend cell counter, the slides have either 3 or 8 counting chambers and bring throughput-flexibility to the benchtop.
Advantages of Cellometer Ascend slides include:
- Run up to 8 samples at once
- Perform multiple replicates within a single slide
- Disposable slides for infectious sample safety control
- Reduced cross-contamination risk
- Supports the use of fragile cell types such as hepatocytes
- Wide dynamic range for cell concentrations
- Low sample volume of 10 μl for the 8-chamber slide
- Composed of shatter-resistant plastic materials
- Integrated autofocus feature on the three-chamber slide
- Three-chamber slide facilitates counting of low concentration samples
